Units of UF-I30 series

The UF-I30 unit gives us the opportunity to get a lot of benefits when rebuilding the system with direct drive motors. The basic advantage is a continuous speed control by a remote control directly from the control panel. The operator controls the engine speed continuously within a set range, which can reach up to 10-200% of rated speed.

When connecting the UF-I30 unit to the hierarchy of the entire control system, it is possible to control the engine speed automatically using a higher level of the control system.

Other advantages of this solution are also motor start, built-in protection features and reducing mechanical wear of the consequential equipment. In addition to potential energy savings (by the application up to 70%), there are also cost savings. Therefore, using the frequency converters even in new areas is extremely attractive and often necessary. As examples, can serve installations replacing throttle valves at pump devices or replacement of mechanically adjustable gears in traffic engineering. Similarly it is with machinery such as saws and drills, where a complex gear setup such as cascade pulley or variator are successfully replaced.

1. Fluent regulation of the saw band speed, setup by potentiometer directly from the control panel. This solution is suitable as a replacement for the original design with speed variator or with two-speed motor. Suitable for cutting soft aluminum alloys or a hard stainless steel.

2. Fluent regulation of the circular saw blade speed. Suitable for cutting of materials of different hardness. The operator sets the desired speed of the blade directly from the control panel.

3. Multiple-step or fluent speed regulation of roller, belt, or chain conveyors. Suitable for acceleration of distance material transfer, or conversely, for slowing down when inserting material into the device, for example a band saw.

4. Fluent regulation of drill or milling cutter speed for setting the optimum circumferential speed of the tool with regard to the material hardness. Correct speed setting affects not only quality of the machined surface but also durability of the instrument itself.
